Flash reliance?Flash reliance is how hard the current discount policy leans on timed sales. HIGH trains price sensitivity and erodes the premium; weaning steps it down to value-led, then off. Derived from the Flash sales setting.

Pre-routed lane?Pre-routed lane is the journey lane this inbound source is pre-matched to. The matching router card on the page is highlighted, so the visitor lands already sorted instead of choosing cold.

Offer?Offer is a status readout, not a control: whether the current state leads with a price. Gold when an offer leads (Promo flash, or verified EDU for Students), muted at full price. Driven by the Inbound source and Flash sales settings.

Model?Model is the Originals licensing model, and only appears on the Originals entry source. Originals normally sells perpetual (£30, yours to keep). Flip to Splice subscription to demonstrate the alternative, offering the whole Originals line through a Splice (Splice Instrument) monthly fee, and see live why it erodes the premium, perpetual-first brand. The Splice inbound source is inherently on subscription, so it has no toggle.

Model state?Model state is the licensing model in effect: perpetual ownership (green) or Splice subscription (red). Derived from the Model control and the inbound source; a Splice source forces subscription.

Brand guard?Brand guard shows the pricing-erosion risk of the current state. 🟢 Protected: full price, no discount (brand / organic / pro). 🟡 Gated or eligible: a controlled value mechanic (verified EDU pricing, Originals, or bundles). 🔴 Offer live or subscription model: a flash discount is leading, or Originals has been flipped to a Splice subscription, which erodes the perpetual brand (the erosion mechanics are listed below this readout when subscription is active).

Recommender tradeoff

Brand-first?Brand-first rates whether this recommender placement keeps the brand image hero dominant. STRONG means the hero still leads; weaker values mean discovery displaces the brand-first moment.

Discovery?Discovery rates how prominent the sound-discovery entry point is in this placement. More prominent surfaces the recommender earlier, trading some brand-hero real estate for findability.
